Why we may change your shipping service

We occasionally upgrade your selected shipping method to a faster option at no cost to you so your Bright Brain order arrives sooner. Upgrades are always in your favor and never change your price.

 

Which service is used for free shipping promotions

Our free shipping promotions use USPS Ground Advantage; this differs from UPS Ground. Orders that use certain promotions, such as bundle offers, may not be eligible for free shipping; however, they can still receive a free upgrade if it speeds delivery.

 

When we apply a free upgrade

  • A faster service is available on your route and is likely to arrive sooner.
  • We can shorten dispatch time. For example, if you order on Saturday and the selected carrier has already picked up, we may switch to a faster option that can still dispatch the same day.
  • The faster option costs no more than $7 above the method you selected. We cover this difference so you never pay more.

Typical delivery time comparison

  • USPS Priority has recently averaged about 5–6 business days for many destinations.
  • UPS Ground has recently averaged about 3–4 business days for many destinations.

Delivery times are estimates and vary by destination, weather, carrier conditions, and holidays.

 

Real-world example

If USPS Priority would likely deliver Friday but UPS Ground can reach you by Wednesday, and the faster service costs only $2.78 more, we will upgrade you to UPS Ground at no charge.

 

Where to see the change

If we upgrade your shipping, the updated service will appear on your shipping confirmation email and on the carrier’s tracking page.

 

Who may not be eligible for an upgrade

Some services and addresses cannot be upgraded due to carrier limitations or routing requirements, including:

  • PO Boxes, APO/FPO/DPO addresses, some U.S. territories, and certain remote regions.
  • Some international services that must remain with the selected postal or consolidation partner.
  • Orders where a specific carrier is required by the customer or by regulations.

How to track your package

Use the tracking number in your confirmation email. You may track directly with the carrier or use a universal tracker.

Other Notes

  • We will never downgrade your service.
  • You will never be charged extra for an upgrade we apply.
  • If you prefer the originally selected service on a future order, just let us know by sending a message on the help desk at any time.
